    Member of Massachusetts State kata and kumite teams that were finalists in multiple US Nationals Championships. Jim also studied Kendo (Japanese fencing).

  • Highlight:
    Represented the US in the 1994 and 1996 Shoto World Cup championships. Geoff has also trained in England and Bermuda. For two years, Geoff trained with Sensei Mori in NYC.

  • Highlight:
    While teaching English in Japan through the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program, Tina trained in Aomori. Tina is fluent in Japanese. In 2006, Tina represented the US in the Gichin Funakoshi World Cup.

  • Highlight:
    While studying abroad in Tokyo, Japan, Josh trained at the Honbu Dojo (JKA headquarters). He also taught English in Japan through the JET Program, which allowed him to train in Morioka, Iwate and Aichi. Josh is fluent in Japanese. In 2006, Josh represented the US in the Gichin Funakoshi World Cup.

    Extensive training wtih Sensei Mori
  • Highlight:
    Has been affiliated with Sensei Mori since 1970. Around 1978, David founded JKA Boston with two others. He has also studied Kendo (Japanese fencing) and Iaido (the art of drawing a sword).
